Obtaining my Master winemaker and Cellarmaster titles was the natural culmination of my years of apprenticeship and studies. It deepened my understanding of the chemistry and biology in winemaking, which is crucial in forming the framework of a great wine.

Having completed my formal training and with a few titles after my name, I felt equipped and ready to really begin my journey in the wine world, and move in the direction I wanted to go. Hence, when the notice arrived about an opportunity on Long Island (what Island?!!!), I was ready- this was the break I had been dreaming about!
