Chapter 10) Les grands Chateaux- Bordeaux, 2001

2000 was an incredible vintage in Bordeaux and I could not miss the opportunity to taste this vintage out of the barrel. It was a very humbling and yet inspiring experience. The message was still the same- good winemaking with utmost care and attention to detail, along with a great vintage make a great wine. I knew what I wanted to do- all I had to do was wait for another great year.
