Inspired by the Garagiste philosophy and encouraged by the great potential of Long Island Vineyards, I set out in 2001 to fulfill my passion for creating small quantities of unique, handmade wines of the highest quality. To bring out the best in each vintage is the challenge and the art of winemaking. I am very proud to say that this bottle of The Grapes of Roth Merlot carries on the tradition of the finest quality established by prior vintages. It is a powerful Merlot with intense, concentrated flavors balanced with great elegance, finesse and depth. This wine has tremendous aging potential. The perfect match with lamb, Long Island duck or venison.

Riesling is one of the most interesting white wines in the world, especially when grown on a favorable vineyard site and treated with the utmost care during the growing season and while in the cellar. Our aim is to create small quantities of unique, handmade wines of the highest quality and longevity. I have partnered with Joey and Marc Wölffer at Wölffer Estate and together we make great wines!
The Grapes of Roth Virgin Berry Dry Riesling
New York’s Signature Wine!
Virgin Berries are a rare and special phenomena in the vineyard. The berries remain much smaller in size, have no seeds and ripen much quicker then normal fruit. These absolutely golden berries are amazingly intense and aromatic. The occurrence of this is extremely rare and may be caused by a stressed vineyard or a special clonal selection. The Grapes of Roth Noble Roth Late Harvest Riesling
This is a classic dessert wine created by hand-selecting perfectly Botrytised grapes. The aroma is a stunning infusion of pear, nectar and honey. The mouth-feel is deliciously concentrated with a long sweet finish that is perfectly balanced by vibrant acidity and minerality. This is a wine that will age with grace.
